BYU-Hawaii Trustees/President's Fund
What It Is
Brigham Young University–Hawaii, founded in 1955, is a baccalaureate university of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. With donations from alumni and friends of the university, the Trustees/President’s Fund improves academic programs and accelerates priorities approved by the BYU–Hawaii Board of Trustees. Monies donated to the fund are given without conditions or restrictions, meaning the board and the university’s president can allocate the funds to the university’s greatest needs in a timely manner.
Why It Is a Priority
Having resources available when opportunities arise is essential. Donations to this fund provide support for immediate and long-range goals. Because the need for these funds is ongoing, the university invites friends and alumni to contribute to the fund generously and regularly.
What It Does and How It Helps
The BYU–Hawaii Trustees/President’s Fund exists to improve the BYU–Hawaii experience for individual students and to advance the university as a whole. Donations to the fund support scholarships, English-language programs, internships, return-ability efforts, and other priorities benefiting students in every discipline at BYU–Hawaii.
This fund is critical to the success of the university. Your assistance in providing unrestricted support to BYU–Hawaii through the Trustees/President’s Fund will provide much-needed and flexible resources.
