LDS Philanthropies, a department of Corporation of the Presiding Bishop of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, is responsible for philanthropic donations to Church institutions, including Brigham Young University, BYU-Hawaii, BYU-Idaho, LDS Business College, Latter-day Saint Charities, FamilySearch International, the Polynesian Cultural Center and other Church departments, programs, funds, and affiliated entities.

Construction workers have placed a 13-foot statue of the angel Moroni on the Provo City Center Temple, marking another milestone for the transformation of the former Provo Tabernacle into a temple. The statue is on the center tower 160 feet from the ground.
