One of Nine: Faith and Examples Lead Fijian to Laie
Jone Temo was thrilled to come to BYU-Hawaii as a student. He had looked forward to attending for many years. When he was very young his father passed away, leaving nine children, and because of his family situation, Jone thought coming to Laie to earn a college degree was out of reach. But with faith, good examples, and help from the university’s I-WORK student-aid program - which is largely funded by donations from friends like you - he made it. Now married and graduated, Jone is grateful for the experiences, training, and education he received at BYU-Hawaii.
