Why Jim and Sandy Cook Put Their Trust in BYU
When Jim and Sandy Cook met, they quickly discovered that they had a lot in common. Both were converts to the LDS faith. Both had recently lost a spouse. Both had five children. And despite graduating from different universities, both had an undying love for Brigham Young University.
"BYU does so much good in the world," says Sandy. "We really wanted to be a part of that."
Jim agrees: "Shortly after Sandy and I were married, we set up a trust in BYU's name. It was our way of securing the future by ensuring that the programs we sustain today will live on after we're gone."
Like others who remember BYU in their estate planning, Jim and Sandy enjoy membership in the Knight Society. They were recently appointed co-chairs of the inclusive group, which requires no current cost or minimum pledge to join-just a desire to make a difference. "We absolutely love our involvement with BYU and the Knight Society," says Sandy, "so much so that we invite you to join us."To learn more about the Knight Society and why Jim and Sandy are excited about the "next 10 years," please call 800-525-8074, or email us at: email@example.com, or visit:philanthropies.churchofjesuschrist.org/legacy/knight.Donate Online
