BYU Students Explore a New Reality
“As someone who wants to be a user experience designer, working in this lab has been an exciting challenge,” said Miah Dawes, one of the first students to take a class in BYU’s Mixed Reality Lab.
The university’s ongoing Inspiring Learning Initiative, funded by generous friends like you, elevates the BYU experience for thousands of students each year. Those students, in turn, help enlarge BYU’s influence as they improve the world around them. Fourteen of their inspiring learning stories are included on the following pages.
“The Inspiring Learning Initiative is . . . an essential part of BYU rising up to become what the Lord wants it to be.” —KIM B. CLARK, COMMISSIONER, CHURCH EDUCATIONAL SYSTEM
