Millions of children eat one meal a day because they don’t have enough food. LDS Charities helps improve quality of life with home food production and nutrition training. Less disease and work absence lead to increased self-reliance.
Last year, LDS Charities helped 51,000 people in 16 countries improve their nutritional production. They included home gardens, nutrition training, and food storage in Fiji, the Philippines, and the United States.
One hundred percent of every dollar donated is used to help those in need without regard to race, religion, or ethnic origin.
Note: Dark areas on the map represent those countries receiving Food Production and Nutrition aid.
